Job Title: Barista

Position Summary:

As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by serving food courses, beverages, and alcoholic drinks. Your role involves setting tables according to event types and service standards, addressing menu inquiries, communicating with the kitchen regarding orders and product availability, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Additionally, you will maintain cleanliness in work areas, process payments accurately, and complete closing duties efficiently.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Serve food courses, beverages, and alcoholic drinks to guests.
- Set tables according to event types and service standards.
- Answer questions on menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, wait times, and product availability.
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Record transactions accurately in the MICROS system at the time of order.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including china, glassware, etc., throughout the day.
- Complete closing duties, such as restocking items and turning off lights.
- Present physical and accurate checks to guests and process payments.
- Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
- Anticipate and address guests' service needs and assist individuals with disabilities.
- Thank guests with genuine appreciation for their patronage.
- Communicate with colleagues using clear and professional language.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
- Support the team to reach common goals and address concerns appropriately.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Perform physical tasks, such as standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and bending, as required.
- Manipulate objects of varying size and weight, demonstrating fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Navigate various surfaces, including sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
