Job Title - Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer at JW Marriott Hotel Muscat, your responsibilities include responding to and addressing guest repair requests. You will communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues independently, perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, and inspect tools, equipment, or machines visually. Your role involves transporting equipment, identifying, locating, and operating all shut-off valves for equipment, and maintaining an inventory of maintenance supplies. You'll communicate daily activities and issues to employees on other shifts, demonstrate advanced ability to read basic blueprints and electrical diagrams related to plumbing and HVAC systems, and perform highly complex property repairs.

You will diagnose and perform basic repairs on various equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and engage in preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with company standards and local codes. Additionally, you will be responsible for training and guiding other engineers, including serving as the Engineer on Duty, performing readings, and rounds.

Qualifications:

- Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) equivalent to C1 level in CEFR.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
- Ability to work in a global environment and align with and support under-pressure situations.
