Job Title: CCV Operator

Function: Production

Reports to: Supervisor, Sr./Production Engineer

Location: Muscat, Sultanate of Oman

Role And Context:

As part of the Production Team, the CCV Operator is responsible for the smooth operation of the CCV Line/Plant.

Need To Do:

- Operate CCV Line safely as per the daily schedule at rated speeds.

- Ensure cable produced is as per specifications.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Experience:

- Purpose: Being responsible for the smooth operation of the CCV Line/Plant.

Key Deliverables:

- Produce cables with the correct specification by following the Quality Compliance Plan (QCP) at rated speeds following NCC Recipe.

- Perform set up jobs efficiently and effectively by following operating instructions and procedures.

- Check thickness, %eccentricity, penetration of material into conductor if any.

- Ensure to make NCC Recipe with correct material details & parameters.

- Ensure to select proper tools following thickness and shrinkage.

- Ensure the clean and set up of CCV line Extruders and accessories in a proper manner in a dedicated time frame without damaging tools.

- Close follow up with QC for CCV related testing.

- Ensure proper handling of CCV materials.

- Follow all safety procedures and requirements.

- Check the mandate to ensure the cable orders are as per specifications in the machine.

- Update and insert data into MES system.

- Communicate with the supervisor/engineer for any issues.

- Record data in PCR.

Qualifications:

- Secondary School

- Vocational training

Skills/Knowledge:

- Basic understanding of production & quality.

- In-process testing.

- Basic technical skills.

Experience:

- 3 to 5 years in operating extruder machine.
