Job Description

Job Title: Coffee Cart Attendant

Position Summary:
As a Coffee Cart Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our coffee cart, from opening to closing. This includes setting up supplies and tools, maintaining cleanliness, taking orders, processing payments, and preparing food and beverages. Your attention to detail and adherence to company standards will contribute to a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing the premises.
- Maintain stocked and organized work areas to ensure efficient service.
- Process orders through the cash register system, handle payments, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Record orders accurately in the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee beverages according to standards.
- Monitor and manage appliance usage, ensuring timely on/off cycles.
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing coffee cart areas and tables, washing dishes, and sanitizing workspaces throughout the day.
- Handle cash transactions, count the cash drawer at the end of the shift, and complete cashier reports.
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures, reporting any incidents or hazards to management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, exhibiting excellent communication skills and customer service etiquette.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and promptly address any issues or discrepancies.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior experience in hospitality or food service preferred but not required.
