Position: Food and Beverage & Culinary
Location: Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street Dubai Marina, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

As a member of our team at Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional culinary experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities include:

1. Food Preparation and Cooking:
- Prepare special meals or substitute items as required.
- Regulate the temperature of kitchen equipment such as ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
- Thaw frozen food items in the refrigerator before use.
- Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnishing of food items.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Prepare cold food items as needed.

2. Quality Control and Communication:
- Maintain food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared.
- Communicate with the Chef regarding excess food items for daily specials.
- Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock items.
- Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.

3. Team Management and Support:
- Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
- Serve as a role model for other team members.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
- Support team members to reach common goals and address their concerns appropriately.

4. Safety, Security, and Compliance:
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Complete safety training and certifications as required.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Protect company assets.

5. Physical Requirements:
- Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
- Perform various physical tasks including reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and lifting objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
