POSITION SUMMARY:

The position involves installing, maintaining, performing preventative maintenance on, and recommending replacement of tools, appliances, and equipment. Responsibilities also include calibrating all controls, gauges, meters, identifying, locating, and operating shut-off valves, and managing the inventory and purchase orders log. The role requires inspecting tools, equipment, or machines, entering and locating work-related information using computers, operating power lift, and completing life safety checklists, including fire-pump run tests and generator run tests. Additional duties encompass inspecting fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems, assisting in the development of disaster response protocols, and responding to and attending to guest repair requests.

The position also involves assisting management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. The candidate is expected to adhere to company and safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete safety training and certifications. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, welcoming and acknowledging all guests, and developing positive working relationships with others are also essential aspects of the role. Furthermore, ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards, identifying, recommending, developing, and implementing new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings are part of the responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous experience in a similar role.

- Knowledge of tools, appliances, and equipment maintenance.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Ability to use computers for work-related tasks.

- Physical ability to perform tasks involving bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

- Excellent communication skills.
