Position Summary

Our roles extend beyond simply moving items from one place to another; they are about creating memorable and unique experiences for our guests. As a Runner, you will collaborate across various departments to ensure guests and associates have what they need precisely when they need it. Your responsibilities may include delivering items directly to guest rooms, supporting housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, the front office, or any other area requiring assistance.

Responsibilities

- Deliver items to guests in their rooms.
- Provide support to housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and the front office.
- Ensure smooth operations throughout the hotel by moving around to get tasks done.

Essential Functions

- Ensure a safe workplace and follow company policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold quality standards.
- Ensure your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional.
- Be on your feet and moving around for extended periods.
- Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
- Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
- Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Preferred Qualifications

- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No related work experience required.
- Supervisory Experience: None.
- License or Certification: None.
